The topic that I chose for this was authenticity of new sources. I chose this topic because the news sources are huge opinion leaders, and if what they are telling people is false. Then they are spreading fake news and I do not believe that is right.
Research question:
Where do news sources stand on the political spectrum?
How many people are viewing these sources?
To conduct this experiment I will analyze data that all the news sources have received and then see how they provide that information to the public. Also, I will try an experiment by watch news sources receive information and then see how long it takes to put out and see what side of the spectrum the article falls.
I think something to consider when you are doing your research, could be what impact does reading these particular news sites have on people, and their views. This can further prove the importance of your topic. You can do this by looking at facebook comments and such.
